About Me

My name is Manas Tripathi, I am 20 years old and an aspiring Business/Data analyst. I am a 3rd year student at York University majoring in Information Technology. My goal at university is not only to study and pass my courses but also to meet and interact with people. I believe a university is a perfect place to meet various people from various other skill sets and backgrounds. 

One of the main reasons I plan to become a business analyst is my major interest in business and programming. Throughout my high school studies, I took many business courses which allowed me to learn various business terms and activities and inclined me to learn more about them in my future studies, which led me to undertake many business courses here at York Universities. As for programming, I had heard about its growing popularity in my first summer leading to my university studies. I started to research its applications in various fields, especially in business. Upon this, I started to learn how to code. My favorite coding language is Python because it is super easy to learn and its applications to solve real-world problems are endless.
